Rhythmic Gymnastics
Rhythmic gymnastics is an individual or team sport where gymnasts manipulate one or two apparatus such as rope, ribbon, ball, hoop or clubs, while performing gymnastics dance routine. The sport combines the elements of ballet, dance, gymnastics with the coordination needed to throw and catch the apparatus. This popular program continues under the direction of a famous Chinese athlete, Coach Li Jia. Coach Li teaches students the fundamentals of how to balance, leap, pirouette, handle the apparatus and introduces execution and artistic effect. The program is divided in two age groups (6-9years and 9-13 years) and per level.

Coach Li has more than 10 years experience coaching Rhythmic Gymnastics. She is also an international level rhythmic gymnastics judge. She competed at the 2004 Athens Olympiad as a member of the China National Team placing 6th.
