The Imperial Guard Ice Hockey Club is a youth ice hockey program that has been in existence since 2007. All Imperial Guard teams are a balanced mix of expatriate players from different countries playing alongside local Chinese players. The Club is a member of the Beijing Junior Hockey League (BJHL) and fields 3 competitive teams in the league. Imperial Guard teams also participate in a minimum of 2 tournaments each season. The Club’s goal is to make ice hockey accessible to as many children as possible in the Beijing area and develop new talent.

Recreational Hockey is designed for beginner to intermediate participants who are interested in getting some experience competing. This is a Sports Beijing intramural league where teams can compete against each other.  Coaches will reinforce strategic game play, team work and fine-tune necessary skill sets for advanced hockey.
