Floor Ball is an exciting indoor form of hockey that’s easy to learn and fun to play. The classes are aimed for children aged 7 and above, of all abilities. The game is played indoors on a gym floor. The players wear athletic court shoes (tennis shoes), and use a plastic “bandy stick” to move a plastic “wiffle ball” up and down a court to take shots on goal. This program introduces the skills needed through specific drills and game time. Players will be provided with a jersey, but need to provide their own bandy stick. Bandy sticks can be ordered through Sports Beijing. The cost of an introductory bandy stick is RMB 300. Coach Leslie Howe will lead the Spring Session, with help from assistant parent coaches.
